Website System Requirements

The following are required to use Emailias.com to its fullest potential.

  • Browsers
    This website works best with the following browsers:
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer*, Version 4 or greater. (download)
    • Netscape Communicator*, Version 4 or greater. (download)
    • America Online Desktop, Version 6 or greater. (AOL Website)

  • Operating Systems
    This website works well with the following operating systems:
    • Microsoft Windows*, '95, '98, 2000, Me, NT
    • Macintosh
    • Unix-like Flavors, Linux, OpenBSD, FreeBSD, Solaris, etc.

  • Internet Cookies
    This website requires that your browser accepts Internet cookies.

Enabling Cookies for Microsoft Internet Explorer*

    If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer* version 5.0:
  1. Select Tools->Internet Options from the menubar at the top of the browser.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Ensure that the Internet icon is selected.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. Scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security and choose either Prompt before accepting cookies or Always accept cookies.
  6. Click on OK when finished.
  7. You may get a message box saying something like:
        Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?
    Click the Yes button to confirm your changes.
    If you're using Internet Explorer* version 4.0:
  1. Choose View->Internet Options from the menubar at the top of the browser.
  2. Click on the Advanced Options tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Internet Explorer icon under Cookies and choose either Prompt or Enable.
  4. Click on OK when finished.

Enabling Cookies for Netscape Communicator*

    If you're using Netscape Communicator* 4.0 or higher:
  1. Choose Edit->Preferences from the menubar at the top of the browser.
  2. Click on the Advanced category (in the left column).
  3. In the Cookies section, choose either
         Accept all cookies
    or
         Only accept cookies originating from the same server as the page being viewed
    Either option will work fine with this website.
  4. Click on OK when finished.

Enabling JavaScript for Microsoft Internet Explorer*

    If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer* version 5.0:
  1. Select Tools->Internet Options from the menubar at the top of the browser.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Ensure that the Internet icon is selected.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. Scroll down to the Scripting section.
  6. In the Active Scripting sub-section (under Scripting), select Enable.
  7. Click on OK when finished.
  8. You may get a message box saying something like:
        Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?
    Click the Yes button to confirm your changes.

Enabling JavaScript for Netscape Communicator*

    If you're using Netscape Communicator* 4.0 or higher:
  1. Choose Edit->Preferences from the menubar at the top of the browser.
  2. Click on the Advanced category (in the left column).
  3. Ensure that the Enable JavaScript item is selected. Note that JavaScript for Mail and News is NOT required to use this website.
  4. Click on OK when finished.
